This policy explains what information fixpricer.com (“fixpricer”, “we”) collects when you use the site, and how it is used.
What we collect
- Calculator inputs. The numbers you enter in a calculator are processed in your browser to show a result. We don’t store them or link them to you.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, approximate location (country, region), device and browser type, and how you arrived. This data is collected using cookies and similar technologies.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address to reply and to handle any correction you report.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and to keep the site running.
We don’t ask for your name, phone number or address, and we don’t sell or rent personal information.
Advertising
fixpricer is funded by advertising. When ads are shown, they are served by Google and its partners, which may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them; only analytics and ad personalization are affected. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, and opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising. To make a request, email hello@fixpricer.com. We won’t treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
fixpricer is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Links to other sites
Our guides link to sources such as government data and retailers. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
